Feeding the future with Nature-Based Farming


Small Sips is a series of short messages on world hunger. Issue # 22 looks at the success the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh has achieved in scaling up small solutions to state level to address food insecurity.  It is currently the largest transition to agroecology in the world, involving six million farmers in a transition from conventional farming practices reliant on synthetic fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides to sustainable “Natural Farming” by 2031.
