One World Grannies has launched a variety of fundraisers over the years and we are always on the look out for new ideas. Past successes include selling African-made Kazuri jewellery across Canada, the GRAND Market at Lansdowne Park in collaboration with other grandmother groups in our region, June storytelling evenings, the One World Challenge (an online virtual trek through sub-Saharan Africa), and cheese, baking and laundry product sales. Since 2006 we have raised thousands of dollars for grassroots organizations that support grandmothers and the children and youth in their care in sub-Saharan Africa.
