About Us

One World Grannies is a volunteer group of women supporting grandmothers in sub-Saharan Africa who are caring for the millions of children and youth affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. We raise funds, we advocate and we educate.

We are one of over 150 grandmother groups in Canada and many others in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States who have joined the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. The Ottawa-Gatineau Region boasts over a dozen different groups.

You don’t have to be a grandmother and we welcome new members!
